How to withdraw FIL from GLIF

Withdrawing FIL from GLIF is a quick process that lets iFIL holders withdraw FIL from the pool. This tutorial will guide you through the steps.

Step 1: Go to GLIF and connect your wallet

Visit GLIF website and click on ‘Connect Wallet’ in the top right corner.

Click on the option to connect your wallet and choose a wallet with iFIL.

Step 2: Go to the "Pool" page

Within the "Pool" section, find the "Withdraw" option.
Enter the amount of iFIL you want to return to GLIF, and you will see how much FIL you can receive based on the current iFIL price. Check here for details on iFIL calculation.
Click "Approve".

Step 3 : Approve pool to transfer

Click "Send".

In order to exit, the GLIF Infinity Pool smart contract needs an approval to spend your iFIL tokens. Then click "Next".

Click "Approve".

Step 4: Withdrawn Successfully!

After a short wait (around 10 seconds to 2 minutes), you should see an approval success message appear. Then, you can click 'Send'.

Click "Confirm" in your MetaMask.

After a short wait, you will see a transaction completion message in the bottom right corner. Withdrawal success!

Step 5: Check your FIL balance

After withdrawn FIL, you will receive FIL in your wallet. For a more detailed view of your position, click on "Wallet" in the GLIF navigation, and you will be able to see the FIL and iFIL balance in your wallet.

Finally, you have successfully withdrawn your FIL from GLIF!
